Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

Effective Date: 08/17/2025

Siglos, Inc. divisions, affiliates and wholly owned subsidiaries (“Siglos,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides professional accounting, insurance auditing, and advisory services. Due to the nature of these services, which involve time, expertise, and immediate allocation of resources, all payments are final and non-refundable, except as expressly provided below.

1. General Rule: No Refunds

All fees for services rendered by Siglos are non-refundable once payment is made, regardless of whether the client completes or continues with the engagement. This includes retainers, deposits, consulting fees, subscription packages, or advisory service payments.

2. Exceptions (Limited Circumstances)

A refund will only be considered in the following limited situations:

  • Duplicate Payment: If a client is mistakenly charged more than once for the same service.

  • Billing Error: If an incorrect amount was charged due to an invoicing or processing error by Siglos.

  • Service Not Commenced: If Siglos has accepted payment but has not yet begun work, and the client cancels in writing within three (3) business days of payment.

3. No Refunds for Completed or Ongoing Work

Once services have commenced, including research, advisory, meetings, audits, or preparation of deliverables, no refunds will be issued, regardless of completion status.

4. Credits (Optional at Siglos’ Sole Discretion)

In certain cases, instead of a refund, Siglos may, at its sole discretion, offer the client a credit to be applied to future services. Credits must be used within 12 months of issuance.

5. How to Request a Refund or Credit

To request a refund or credit under this Policy, clients must submit a written request to billing@siglos.com within seven (7) business days of the payment date. Requests will be reviewed within 10 business days.

6. Chargebacks

Clients agree not to initiate chargebacks with their bank or credit card provider without first attempting to resolve the matter with Siglos. Unauthorized chargebacks will be considered a breach of contract, and Siglos reserves the right to pursue collection and recover associated costs.

7. Changes to This Policy

Siglos reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
